How to Manage Your Online Giving

Thank you for supporting the Saint Benedict Institute with a recurring donation! You can increase, decrease, or discontinue your monthly gift at any time. If you give online through our website, follow the steps below to login to your self-service account. If you need assistance, please contact SBI staff at michelle.pohlman@saintbenedictinstitute.org.

  1. Log into your account.

  2. To login for the first time, click “Forgot Password”.

  3. To set your password, enter the email address associated with your donation in the email box.

  4. You will receive an email from “noreply@mail.ministrylogin.com” with a link to reset your password. It may go to your promotions or spam folder. Follow the instructions to reset your password.

  5. Once your password is set, go back to the link in step 1 to log in.

The information that follows provides further instructions for common questions about online giving through our system.


Setting up a scheduled donation locks in the starting date, ending date, and frequency.  If you want to change those, you must cancel the existing donation and create a new one.

If you are not changing the dates or frequency, it is easy to change the amount and payment method on the existing donation.

You can also have multiple scheduled donations (each fund could have a different frequency or day of the month).

New recurring donation

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Click on “Giving” on the left hand side.

  3. Click on “+Give”.

  4. Enter amount, Fund=”Saint Benedict Donation”, Give Multiple Times, date of first donation, date of last donation (optional)

  5. Click “Continue”

  6. Enter credit/debit card or bank ACH information

  7. Click “Give”

Add a second donation to an existing recurring donation

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Click on “Giving” on the left hand side.

  3. Click on “Scheduled” then “+Give”.

  4. Click on the “…” icon on the right, and choose “Edit”.

  5. Click on “+ Another Fund”.

  6. Enter the new amount and fund name (= “Saint Benedict Donation”).

  7. Click “Continue”.

  8. Enter a new payment method if needed.

  9. Click “Save”.

Modify amount of an existing recurring donation

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Click on “Giving” on the left hand side.

  3. Click on “Scheduled” then “+Give”.

  4. Click on the “…” icon on the right, and choose “Edit”.

  5. Change the amount of the donation.

  6. Click “Continue”.

  7. Enter a new payment method if needed.

  8. Click “Save”.

Modify frequency of an existing recurring donation (i.e., cancel and recreate)

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Click on “Giving” on the left hand side.

  3. Click on “Scheduled then “+Give”.

  4. Click on the “…” icon on the right, and choose “Cancel”.

  5. Confirm.

  6. Continue with steps above to set up a new recurring donation.

Suspend an existing recurring donation

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Click on “Giving” on the left hand side.

  3. Click on “Scheduled” then “+Give”.

  4. Click on the “…” icon on the right, and choose “Place on Hold”.

  5. Confirm. The donation will be on hold until the donor comes back and selects the “Reactivate” option from the “…” icon.

Reactivate a suspended recurring donation

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Click on “Giving” on the left hand side.

  3. Click on “Scheduled” then “+Give”.

  4. Click on the “…” icon on the right, and choose “Reactivate”.

  5. Be sure to check the start date when reactivating a recurring donation! The donation may not resume the prior schedule.

  6. Confirm. 

Update payment method (credit / debit card, bank ACH information)

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Click on “Giving” on the left hand side.

  3. Click on the “Manage Payment Methods” on the right hand side.

  4. Edit details of existing method, or add additional ones, or delete existing / old methods.
