Grace Brown: Digging Deeper
Since I’ve started at Hope, I’ve been given the opportunity of going to daily Mass. This is the first time in my life that I have been able to go to Mass each day and doing so has impacted my life in such a profound way. It has especially been a gift as I have been transitioning into college as a freshman, and knowing that Jesus is walking through it alongside me. Mass has been the one consistent thing through each day and I am beyond grateful for this gift. It has pushed me, not only to stay involved and rooted in my Catholic faith in college, but to dig deeper, and desire to know the Lord better than before. I’ve discovered a hunger to learn more about my faith, I’ve learned to search when I have questions, and I’ve found a deeper love for the Church and her teachings. I’m beyond grateful for the Saint Benedict Institute for giving me a chance to grow deeper in my faith through the Mass.
